1. Talk to architects, end clients or Building Inspectors on your behalf.
2. Calculate quantities for intumescent coating projects and undertake post application paint inspection.
3. Undertake fire engineering assessments (at cost).
4. Design and draw fire stopping details.
5. Help you to find the most cost effective solution to a fire protection problem.
6. Advise on current and future legislation related to fire protection.
7. Provide site support.
8. Product and installation training.

Research & Development

Firetherm currently has 42  fire protection products - and 10 more are currently being developed.

Firetherm has an R & D laboratory dedicated to improving our current products and producing the products of the future.

We can also modify products to suit different world markets.

Our Acoustic and Insulation Manufacturing  (AIM) division are currently designing products to our customers request on a daily basis. Foiling /  Mineral Fibre Conversions are our speciality.

 

Testing

Product Testing

Firetherm trades in the World Market Place. This often means that special products need to be developed to take into account local requirements, site practices and legislation.

Equally we offer guidence and assistance in bespoke concepts that you may require to be fire tested.

Fire Testing

We have undertaken large testing programs at Warrington Fire Research Laboratory in anticipation of upcoming new European Legislation EN 1366 pt 1-5.

In addition we have completed a highly successfully testing program at Underwriters Laboratory (ULC) of North America which enables Firetherm products to be used by customers not only in the Americas but also in any market or project that is working to UL standards.

Testing has also been performed in other markets such as Singapore to accommodate local requirements and approval certificates have been obtained from Lloyds Register of Shipping, International Maritime Organisation (IMO), SOLAS and RINA for offshore requirements.

If your market or project has special requirements - provided it is commercially viable, we are willing to consider special testing
